How to add exercises

A Text exercise helps your students develop their reading fluency and comprehension by understanding main ideas and details, and it also helps them expand their vocabulary through context.

1. First, click on "Add new exercise" and choose Text from the list of exercises. A "settings" card will appear on the left, where the exercise can be configured.

2. In the "Source Text" field, paste the text you would like to use in the exercise, unless it has been added for you.

3. Next, choose a level from the "Student level" dropdown list. This helps tailor the questions to your students' proficiency.

4. Once you're done, click the "Add exercise" button to generate the exercise content using the settings you provided. The generated text will appear on the output card on the right.

5. If you are not happy with the AI-generated content, you can click the Edit icon at the top of the output card.

6. In edit view, you can make changes to the exercise content, select words to add gaps to include in the gap fills, or remove any that are not suitable.

7. After making your desired modifications, click "Save" to apply the changes.
